Mission-related collection

Mission work is a cherished tradition of our Pentecostal movement and of Pfimi Bern. Of course, the context and circumstances of overseas mission have changed. And hopefully we are aware that those right in our own community also urgently need our attention and the power of the Gospel. But we want to do both—we don’t want to neglect one for the other—and use the unique advantages we have here in Switzerland for the sake of God’s kingdom.

Mission SPM

Mission SPM

Jesus called on his disciples to spread the Gospel throughout the world. In keeping with this mission, SPM has been committed to introducing people around the world to Jesus ever since its founding. It does this both by teaching the Bible and establishing churches, and through social projects and humanitarian aid.

Life Everywhere is dedicated to equipping churches with practical resources for evangelism and discipleship. Through mentoring, training, and initiatives that make a social impact, we partner with church leaders to bring about lasting change within their congregations and beyond. And we do this all over the world!

Collection with a local focus

Welcome Home – Celebrating together, moving together, making a difference together. We want our church to become even more of a gathering place where
visitors—people of all generations and cultures—
feel welcome. The projects listed here are designed to equip the
congregation and create a supportive environment for fellowship,
teaching, and worship.

Youth Lounge and Tent Renewal for Royal Rangers

Youth Lounge and Tent Renewal for Royal Rangers

The Youth Lounge is a gathering place at the Holenacker Community Center during church services as well as during the week when Youth Alive meets. The goal is to make a few minor adjustments and, in particular, to purchase a refrigerator so that people can enjoy refreshments right in the lounge. The Royal Rangers’ tents are getting old and are now being replaced in stages. We plan to replace four tents again this year.

Renovation of the restrooms at the Bern location

Renovation of the restrooms at the Bern location

The restrooms at the Holenacker Community Center are showing their age, and we would like to invest in this area to improve the visitor experience. We will now begin the planning process.

Implementation of the Location Strategy

Implementation of the Location Strategy

Pfimi Bern has decided to expand its reach into regional communities through local chapters. For the past year, we have been holding regular local worship services in Düdingen and have seen local people join us. This local chapter strategy is a natural extension of our small-group church model at Pfimi Bern and reflects changes in society.
