About us

Our leading pastor couple, Ivano and Barbara Lai

Pastor Ivano Lai has served in various areas of church planting since 1990 with his distinct teaching gift and apostolic ministry. He regularly teaches at the BBS Academy, a Swiss-wide part-time Bible school, which he also presides over. His emphasis is on authentic and mature discipleship of Jesus Christ through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He communicates this through systematic and biblical preaching. Ivano is married to Barbara. Together they have three children.

Barbara is not only the strong woman at Ivano's side. She is particularly involved in the Ladies Community and the Pfimi Kids. Her aim is to strengthen women in their identity and discipleship. She also has a big heart for children. She wants children of all ages to be able to get to know Jesus and his unconditional acceptance and enter into a relationship with him. She systematically makes the truths of the Bible accessible to the children through Bible lessons. The whole commitment serves to promote a healthy Christian family life.
