Pfimi Kids church service

The children's service starts at 10:00 am.
From the age of 2, we start with short biblical lessons. These are adapted to the age of the children, are intended to be fun and enjoyable and to convey the love of God to the children.
Children from the age of 4 start their service with worship. The children in Year 5 and 6 join the adult service for the worship time and then go to their classrooms for their lesson. The end of the service is at approximately 11:30 am.

Arrival

Arrival

Families can check their children in for the children's service at the check-in stations from 9 am. Our host team will assist you in checking in the children and will be available to answer questions at any time. Check-in is possible until 10:30 am. Families who arrive later have the option of looking after their children themselves in the lounge.

After check-in, the children are received by our leaders and staff in their classes. At the check-in stations, a screen provides information on where the children start their service.

Children's service

Children's service

The children's service starts with a time of praise, during which we worship God with the children in song. For the 4-year-olds and the children in the 1st kindergarten, we have the toddler worship service. Children from the 2nd kindergarten start their service in the small hall on the upper floor, where they celebrate God with all children up to and including 4th grade in the children's praise service. This part lasts approx. 30 minutes. Afterwards, the children go to their classrooms under the guidance of their leaders and staff, where they are taught an age-appropriate biblical lesson. During the children's service we offer the children a small snack. If your child has an allergy, you can make a note of this at the initial registration or inform the leaders. Like the adult service, the children's service ends at 11.30 am. We ask you to pick up your child immediately after the service. Children up to and including 2nd grade will only be handed over on presentation of the parents' label. Children from 3rd grade onwards are seen off by their leaders after the service and do not need to be collected.

Fellowship time after the service

Fellowship time after the service

We also offer the opportunity for fellowship after the service. Our community center offers space for all generations. There is a toddler playground for the little ones in the lounge on the middle floor. Children from the age of 4 can let off steam in the children's play area in the basement. There is also a "Youth Lounge" meeting area for teenagers and young people in the basement.

Pfimi Kids online

Pfimi Kids online

There is a YouTube channel for our Pfimi kids with over 100 videos for all ages in German. Take a look, because this offer is for you and gives you the opportunity to listen to God's Word and share it with your family, friends and acquaintances.

The online lessons can also be used for the children's service on Sundays. We design the process interactively with the children. Each lesson has an introduction, a children's praise, a Bible story and an application. These different elements can be used individually and deepened with the children.

All our online lessons have a target idea adapted to the age group and therefore a focus. This makes them practically applicable for the children.

What else I need to know

In order to check your child in with us, you must first register them with us. To do this, come to the Welcome Desk on Sunday or register your children in advance using the First Registration Children form.

Once your child is registered with us, you can simply check them in on Sunday at the check-in stations on the ground and middle floors.
At the check-in stations, you will receive a sticker for your child with their first name and surname, a number assigned to the child for the parent emergency call and the class division. The name tag should be stuck on the back of the toddlers and on the front of the chest for children from the 1st kindergarten.

Toddlers are divided into classes according to their age. The transfer to the next class follows with the birthday. As soon as a child starts school, the current class that your child attends also applies to attendance at the children's service.

The protection of your data is important to us. It goes without saying that we handle your data responsibly. We undertake to treat your data with care and to use it only in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act. Under no circumstances will the data collected be sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons. We observe the principle of earmarked data use and only collect, process and store your personal data for the purposes of association life.

As a general rule, no children should be in the worship hall. We have a great and age-appropriate children's program. Parents who do not wish to take advantage of the program are advised that they can stay in the lounge area and follow the service from there.

If a child needs a mother or father during the service, your child's number will light up on the display boards in the service hall and the lounge. Please come to your child's classroom immediately.
