Youth Sunday

Youth Sunday

Youth-Sunday is a place to immerse yourself in the Bible, to deepen biblical foundations and to reflect on what it means to live as a follower of Jesus in everyday life, at school and in the family. It is a place to make and strengthen friendships.

If you are in the 7th or 8th grade, we cordially invite you to worship God with us on Sunday mornings in the Pfimi Bern, to better understand the Bible through a biblical input and to exchange ideas and put what you have heard into practice in everyday life.

Arrival

Arrival

Young people can check in for the Youth-Sunday program at the check-in stations from 9 am. Our host team will assist young people with check-in and will be available to answer questions at any time. Check-in is possible until 10:30 am.

After check-in and until the start of the service, the young people can stay in the lounge on the middle floor or in the Youth Lounge in the basement. At 9.50 a.m., they meet in front of the left-hand entrance to the worship hall and then go into the hall together, where they take the seats reserved for the Youth Sunday participants.

The young people of Youth Sunday start the service with the adults. The first part of worship is followed by an information block and the opportunity to honor God with a collection. After another time of worship, the young people either go to the Youth Sunday room, where they can expect an age-appropriate and exciting input from the Bible, or they can take part in the service in the main hall.

Fellowship time after the service

Fellowship time after the service

We have fellowship after the service. Our community center offers space for all generations. The young people of Youth Sunday find a meeting area in the Youth Lounge in the basement.

What else I need to know

Teenagers also register at our check-in stations. For first visits come to the Welcome Desk on Sunday or register in advance using the "First Registration" form.

Once your teenager has registered with us, he/she can simply check in on Sunday at the Check-in stations on the first floor and middle floor.
At the Check-in stations, he/she will receive a sticker with their first and last name, a number assigned to him/her for parents' emergency call, as well as his/her class. The sticker should be visibly affixed to the front of his/her chest so that the Youth Sunday leaders can address them by name.

The teens in the 7th grade visit the 7th grade in the Youth-Sunday program.
The teens in the 8th grade visit the 8th grade in the Youth-Sunday program.

To make it easier for families to visit us for the first time, we recommend setting up the family profile in advance. It is also possible to enter important information such as details of intolerances or allergies. We look forward to welcoming you here.

It is possible to make a temporary registration without permanent recording of personal data. Please contact the Welcome Desk for this.

Young people may only attend the church service or the Youth Sunday program if accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. In any case, the consent of a parent or guardian is required.
